Skywatch My presidential delay:)

I took this sunset shot while waiting for my flight home from Ohio it was delayed  an hour because of the rest of the pictures on this page that I DID NOT take.....  I wish I could have seen all the hoopla but I did not know about it till after it was all over...... my question is if the President was home at the white House at 4:35pm  why were we  delayed till after 7:00pm to take off?  Not mad just wondering?
