Practical

We went to the TX State fair yesterday,it was very fun.It was my first time to go, so by the time I blog all my photos from it you will be sick of it, or maybe, wish you had gone-- the day started out on a very impractical note I was pulling open a make-up bottle in the car and it exploded all over my white blouse I tried magical baby wipes but nothing helped. As we passed a Ross store I said to my hubby 'I should have had you stop there and I'd get a new shirt' he did not reply.... but in about 10 miles when we passed another he pulled in and I got a $5.99 white shirt!!! I actually really like it and can use it. So all was not lost.
We had such a fun time but practical is not a word I find synonymous w/ State Fairs, not in the food ,displays, animals, or anything. But on second thought we did look at the cars. I really need a new one ,mine is 8 years old, has served me well, but even Honda's start giving up after 250,000 miles. I like riding a little high to see better, so I think I do not want a sedan but, I know I do not want a huge SUV or Van. These new CUV's or small SUV's made like cars still ride higher and some get good gas mileage.- I would love a Hybrid but can't afford that-- so we looked at these Do you know anyone who drives any of these next vehicles they all seem somewhat PRACTICAL

This is a Hyundai Sante Fe has good gas mileage and safety ratings I liked it--

This is a Hyundai tuscon smaller and less frills I liked it OK

This one...I forget which it is? I thought it was the Mazda but,no it isn't I do like this color best

This was the Subaru it was my favorite in Color and all around, but it is high priced

I do know I won't get this one but it was fun.

If you know any thing about these cars I would love to hear input.

My husband works for Hyundai and swears by the name up and down but the best car that sells and gets best reviews from his customers right now is the Santa Fe. Good luck with that.

see,it's dangerous to put on your makeup in the car even if you are NOT driving!!!I love state fairs, but I need to go w/o children. I can't believe you are actually looking at new vehicles...you know I love my Escape!!

Subaru would be my guess, but no, I am not a car buff. Good shots, anyway.

I think half the people in Vermont have Subarus and I will as soon as I can.

I know many people like the hyundai but we had one and it was a TOTAL lemon! That was many years ago but I am turned off of them now.
have a great week-end and stop by my blog for a visit and say hello!

We LOVE the fair. We have gone year after year after year, although I doubt we will get to this year. I am glad that you had fun. The car part is one of our favorites, actually.

All good cars. I would like the Mazda CX9 or the Nissan Rogue. My friend just got the Ford Edge and LOVES it.

I'm one who buys cars not so often and always seem to be short on cash when it comes to the car

I'm glad you got a new blouse. Nothing ruins your day more than dirt on your pretty fashions.

They all look fun, especially the Discover Texas one (not the most practical, though!) We lived in San Antonio for 7 years before moving to Colorado. Never did go to the fair.

I don't know much about cars but I would love to have one of those in the photos you have posted. I've always wanted to bring my dog out to the beach. I think this will be practical for this purpose. :D

I don't know anything about any of these cars but I'd definitely be interested in hearing what you find out. Eventually maybe someday we'll get a new car, and I'd like a crossover.

We are huge toyota fans at our house. They go forever with a little maintenance, and have one of the highest return customer ratings. Ornery has a Tundra pick-up, and despite it being a truck is THE most comfortable riding vehicle I have ever ridden in. It's fun to drive too.
