Good Experiences

I have so much to be thankful for today. My husband is so nice to me, we have a small home to keep us safe,we are happy and relatively healthy.
This was such a wonderful weekend: we spent some time at the temple Friday and had a date for lunch , we had senior night for Z at football:<.. I can hardly believe next school year will be no more pencils, no more books.
Sat morn R had meetings and I took My niece shopping for fabric to decorate at her wedding reception--we found the sweetest color of pink and even got them to discount what we bought, it will be sooo pretty.
That afternoon and evening we got to meet w/some leaders of our church and it was such an uplifting day. Today was too, we had an early morning meeting for some training for a new job at church for my husband we learned a lot and it was truly humbling to be taught by such wonderful leaders.
I was able to sing in the choir for Stake conference I am so fortunate to be allowed because I am not a great singer but I enjoy it very much. As always we learn so much at those bi-annual meetings one of the messages was the growth of Peter and it felt like we were walking through his life in the New Testament. I am grateful.

It was such a wonderful weekend for us, too.

I was not surprised at all to hear your DH's name be called at stake conference. :o) What a blessing his service will be for your family.

Well, the news has made it to Mexico! What a blessing it will be for the stake to have your husband counsel and teach! I have always enjoyed his spirit and the insight he shares into the scriptures - I still watch for the word "all" and "always" in the scriptures due to a talk he gave years ago! You two are great and we are blessed to count you as friends!
