I love the stitchery one from Utah. that would be so cute in my girls' room! And I'm from Utah so that makes it even better. ;)
My Thursday Thirteen is up too! :)
What a wonderful collection!
The real reason for the season!
I love the Irish one. Very pretty. And that olive wood one does look like the ones you see sold in Jerusalem or Nazareth.
Oh, these are great! I love the one from Peru. A couple of years ago, my mom gave me the cardboard nativity set from my childhood--it was always my job when I was little to set it up, fit all the little tabs into the little slots. I think I like that one better than the pretty frosted glass one I'd been using, because of the memories.
I too love the stitchery one - oh, I love them all!
Growing up, we could never afford a one - I was determined to have a beautiful one when I got married, then I ended up divorced and poor dadgummit.
I have a teeny tiny one I bought at a craft fair. When we moved to Texas a few years ago I told the kids let's get a bigger one, they said, we kind of like the mini one
:)
such sweeties
It fit's on a coaster - I am talking small!
You have a beautiful collection - hope you post more before Christmas!
So pretty!
I love how they're all so different and unique! It's a lovely collection. Thanks for sharing it!
I like the Irish one! Nice post - thank you - I love the photos to see them all.

These are great interpretations of this Great Story!
A few years back, The Knights of Columbus had an exhibition in its museum of creches from all over the world. It was amazing to see the story in so many different cultural settings. Powerful, like yours.
I have two I keep out all year!
oh I love nativities! And yours are so cute. Yes It is nice to meet other LDS on blogging :)
I added pics to my T13...

I so love them all. Mine are on my list for today and tomorrow. We even have a miniature "lawn ornament" nativity for our village's big house.
Thanks for reminding me to get my butt in better order and get things out NOW.

Btw You have your Blogger preferences set so that commenters without Blogspot accounts can’t be linked back to their sites. I’m at http://agentlemansdomain.typepad.com and this week I’m #33 on the TT list.
These were fun to look at. Loved that flying baby and the rural Ohio pictures. And the quote by President Hinckley at the top--well, it's the tops!
wow! what a collection.
love them!
Those are wonderful!!! Thank you for taking the time to share them with us! I especially love the wood ones.
Haha! You only collect ones from other countries, huh? The one from Utah is pretty foreign...
And so funny--I almost bought you the one from "Ireland" but at Deseret Book they said it was Celtic--no Stonehedge--no, well, I forget (old age). Anyway, I'm glad I didn't buy it.
These are beautiful.
these are very cool!
i am sorry that i have been a slacker blogging friend! i am going to post soon!
i have missed you!
I know someone who also collects nativity scenes and her friends/family also give her so her collection continues to grow. Great job.
yeah go ahead and give them my blog address. i just still have not figured out how to do it all seeing as how this is only my second time to get on it lol :-D just give me time.
Seems like you've collected a lot. Love most of them but my favorite is the Indian set.
Beautiful collection!
