Thursday 13 #26 Pictures and lessons I learned last night

We bought my husband a nice suit the day after Thanksgiving and he asked me to not get him anything else for Christmas.... I almost complied... I got him some cashews and tickets for the family to see A Christmas Carol the Musical

at Bass Hall in Ft Worth

the theater is amazing outside

and in

we dressed up a little

and so did the Hall.

We took my new camera for test drive (later post) and the older one too

The Camera likes some of us

better than others

this new camera will be so fun to play with --I think B looks sweet here

If You cajole Z enough he will smile

.

Making group decisions on where to eat takes a LONG time:>

Walking in the winter is invigorating when dressed for it and Brrrrrr!!! when you are not, and the shivering effects the camera:>

Everything here is ALWAYS good and I am so glad My children know how to share :)

The Show was awesome I wish I had pictures and might have paid a couple of hundred dollars for closer seats but the sound was impeccable and the message is so true Making money is hollow if you have no one to share it with: take time for love, family, and charitable acts. Take time to nurture those you love or they will find someone or someplace else. Be forgiving. Give of oneself: talents, earnings, and time.

Ft Worth is so pretty esp this time of year

If the Christmas tree is at the heart of the home than this one is at the heart of the city

Sounds like a wonderful evening out and I cannot wait to do that with my children...they are now old enough it will be enjoyable.

Bass Hall is where we went to the Symphony this year - I was thrilled with it. The building was gorgeous, the music was fantastic and the whole thing was a huge highlight of this holiday season for me. I had never been before - my husband got us tickets as part of my Christmas gift. He bought us tickets on the floor, near the front, but I'm telling you - after having been inside and experienced it, I believe tickets up in the balcony would be even better. I think they're less expensive and I KNOW the view is better. I think those are the tickets we'll be aiming for the next time we go there.
Loved your pictures...everyone looks so festive and happy and just downright CHEERFUL!!
