This weekend I started the day off great w/ a long brisk walk.
I also took my daughter shopping and we got a chuckle when we saw this very pink car and the driver was dressed in the exact same color

Earlier in the week I went to lunch w/ some friends for one friends birthday and we had a nice time, I had a HFPE committee meeting, and a Enrichment activity on successful budgeting and it made me excited to save money:>

Hubby and I went to a Valentine dance at church it was very fun we danced a lot we did the fox trot, the swing , the waltz, and the the twist :>

I helped my sister get ready for her cute daughter to come visit

and introduce her boy friend we liked him, he is a cowboy ,a student in marketing,is polite and has a sense of humor.

her w/ her younger brothers

This niece was there too w/ her new puppy he is so cute

I always like to take pics of these cuties

We also had a terrible tragedy at church-- a young man was shot and died it is so sad and senseless- We took over food , the funeral will be Wednesday morning and we will do a dinner for the family afterwards--we do not know when we will die I hope we can live each day to the fullest and show our loved ones how much we care

These are wonderful, loving family photos!

I hope I never dress like my car! Eek. That would mean the mud look. Can't do it...

Thanks for a heartwarming post.

LOL~ must have been quite a sight to spot that pink car and owner!

Sad to hear about ur church's lost :( We never know when we'll die, its always there and then that we are reminded to cherish all our friends and family, as well as our pets :(

My nation lost our Icon last Friday. Most of us in Singapore still finding it hard to believe. :(

It is so sad...but you do such a good job in helping and comforting people. I know I would not be able to fulfill my calling without your help! You are an amazing example to me. Just thought you should know.

Your family is beautiful. That was an early Valentine celebration. But then again, everyday should be Valentine's day. :)

Beautiful family you got, Marcia. Valentine dance? That is sweet! Your niece with the dog reminds me of Penelope Garcia of Criminal Minds TV series.

Re the car, here in the Philippines, we have all sorts of colors (oranges, purples, bright yellows) and designs with airbrushed artworks. Even motorcycles have them.

Have a great week!

Are you talking about the senseless shooting that happened in the neighborhood across from Highland station? That is just awful. I will never understand these kind of things. Life is fragile!

What a car! The rest of the photos look like you had a great time. The new puppy is soo cute.

That is horrible about the shooting.

That IS a pink car, can't believe anyone would dress to match it.....

What a wonderful family time you had with the church dance and all.

The puppy is so cute, he reminds me of my Rusty.
