This is my absolute favorite spring flower-- The Larkspur used to cover almost my entire front lawn in late spring and were a wonderful site to behold-- till I had to pull them all out because of an invasive parasite about 3-4 years ago. They have been slowly coming back but my DH accidentally mowed them all down this year but this one. So, I am really appreciating this one flower w/ the beautiful sky behind it.

great idea looks wonderful love both blues :) happy sw
wonderful shot, and lovely perspective! :)
That is beautifully done!
It's like the plant was trying to grow, and grow until it reached the sky!
Fantastic catch for SWF! mine's up too, hope you can drop by. Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!
Thanks fellow Texan for dropping by. Beautiful photo.
What was the parasite? I mean was it on the flower itself? I just planted some Larkspur seeds yesterday and hope they grow. In fact I kind of ache this morning because I was up and down and crawling around and bending over and watering and digging holes and running the little tractor just to plant about 6 plants. But I think they looked nice and should look great in a few weeks. I enjoyed your blog and think you made a wise choise for sky watch friday.
Wonderful! I love the angle, the flower against the beautiful sky.
I like flower shots.
Hmm might not be my favorite flower but definitely a beautiful shot.
that's pretty.
Sorry you are still not feeling well {{{hugs}}}
I have seen three shot similar to this today, all with different spring flowers from differing places. Each one is a perfect picture for Sky Watch and I am thankful you chose this one today.

Impressive work
A really lovely photo. It certainly is a beautiful flower.
I do love those larkspurs!!! Keep it safe. I have some seeds to share with you, I bought rocket larkspur seeds at wildseed farms last month. I am saving them for planting in Sept or October.
