Thursday Thirteen 13 recent random pictures and how they relate to me:)

1.looking at this can't you just taste your childhood

2.this cute guy reminded me I really could use a new mattress How old is your mattress?

3. does this one mean the graffiti is being recycled?

4.I am so grateful for seat belts -- this week my son was in a high speed accident, he was buckled in, and was ok!! The other guy was not buckled and flew out of the car (he will be ok too but his knee is hurt)

5.When we buckle up, we also avoid tickets form these guys but I am glad they are out there protecting and serving

6.This picture seems like such a random shot but it shows my Family I love so much w/ a light on my very special daughter, some of my favorites of my collection of nativities (Because of who they are from )(they both just happen to be from Italy)and a statue of Jesus to whom I am so grateful

7.No reason other than I like Doorways, they seem so inviting, couple this w/ the next pic and don't ya just want to play tennis?

8.oh and I'm trying to stay on the ball:)

9.Isn't this just a nice doorway to a bright future?

10. these next three help me remember to have my camera w/ me all the time -- so I do not miss shots like this -ducks walking down the street....

11. this cutie's smile...

12. or finding art in a surprise location...

13. and lastly this one to remind me to take time for those I love

How sweet--the last one really hit it home!

That first one!? Oh my god! I forgot about that stuff! It was so yummy! Nothing like that gum, for sure.

Happy TT!

I like doorways too. There's something about them that makes one want to be on one side more than on the other.

Marcia. Do they still make Fruit Stripe gum? How I loved making paper chains from those wrappers. I hope your son is OK.

(Thanks for asking about me. I'm way behind with some work; the summer transition always does this to me for a week or two. But all is well. God bless.)

Beautiful pics. And, yes, #7 and #8 make me want to get out on the court. Today I'm home sick with a cold, but it's my usual tennis night. I don't want to miss it, but I don't want to get sicker, either. On another note, I just watched Serena's semi-final match. Wow - Jeung(sp?) really made her work for that win. Way to go Jeung - although I'm glad Serena won in the end.
