Growing up my kids always,I mean always, wanted to sing Nephi's Courage for family night. So the chorus: I will Go, I will do.... always comes to my mind at these cross roads of their lives---Z has decided to Go for two years on a mission for our church-- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I am so proud of him and his choice.
We have been waiting for a couple of weeks to find out where they would want him to Go and so everyday at 11:00 AM this is where I have been :) and the mailbox has not been my friend....
Till Yesterday :) It came!!
Z wanted to wait till we could be home w/ mom, dad, B&S He was so excited!! He is thrilled that he will Go in 7 weeks...
to the California Santa Rosa Mission. Anyone knowing anything about that area please Share :) It covers the coast from Santa Rosa North to the Oregon border.

Yay yay yay! We were just there. DH's grandfather used to be in the mission presidency there. It's a beautiful area. :o)
My brother served in that mission 15 years ago. He loved it. There was great member support back in the day (hopefully it's that way today too.) And he loved the area.
I've traveled a bit around San Francisco and north. amazing places all along the coast.
you must be very proud.
what type of work will he be doing?
Yeah he finally got it!
GO Z!!! That's exciting. Now the count down really starts.
DOES THIS MEAN HE WILL MISS THE WEDDING???
Congrats to your son! :)
Congrats on the call! He will love it. My mission to Vancouver Canada has been a blessing in my life that continues to give me joy!
Okay so excited for him. I'm glad he's not leaving until the 24th, that's perfect timing! Yay!
Congratulations!! I can't believe he is going on a mission already.
Oh my goodness! That is wonderful!! He is going to be a great missionary! What an exciting time for your family. We are taking Bronson for his physical on Thursday, then he'll be ready to turn in his papers!!
Congratulations Z!!!
That is great news! The son of one of my close friends is going to that same mission! He went into the MTC today. I will have to find out his last name, though, as my friend is remarried....That would be fun if they knew each other. They'll both be excellent missionaries.
Oh, and I think that may be the mission Kathy served in...
