There from the Start

Photohunt theme=wrinkled
These three men are very similar in personality MY FIL-DH and son- unassuming and quiet at first - but they are all 'the salt of the earth' (strong, helpful, and unwavering) when you know them.
My wonderful FIL was there when Z was blessed as baby

Add--- almost nineteen years -+-- big changes in hair all around :)-+-- a few wrinkles and then there this week when we went to the temple.

The best facial lines are the dimples they all share:) Are dimples sideways wrinkles? I think wrinkles are deepened w/ wisdom and dimples are deepened w/ laughter -- I 'll take both:)

That's a great, historic progression, Marcia.

You are so proud of them - and I can see why.

The generational pictures are awesome. Handsome family. I took a similar approach to the wrinkles as you did.

Wow... Your son has grown up so tall and mature. You ought to feel pleased with the fact that you kept track of his life ever since he was a baby. I admire you for your effort :)

Wonderful family shot and I never would have though of dimples as wrinkles but of course they are in a way. Happy weekend.

This gave me incredible chills. Seeing the difference in ages, but the similarities in facial characteristics.

Great choice for the theme!

Great collection. I like the long spans of time for all 3 generations.

I especially like the hands photo's. We sometimes forget how important a touch is and concentrate on the faces in photo's. I think photo's of small hands and feet often convey more meaning and emotion. They remind us of all the small things we remember as we grow up or our children grow up. And they can remind us of how we related to the important things in our world.

nice take on this week's theme. im sure the littly boy will treasure that picture of him with his "oldies".

wrinkles are indeed sign of wisdom! they said that a wrinkled hand is a sign of hardwork.

Wonderful pictures of the 3 men of your life.
I also appreciate the link with hands of youngers to olders. I feel a lot of love passing through these fingers. As expressive as a portrait.
