NEW Washing machine (Help

I need to buy a Washing machine this next week What do you like or not like about yours? Every one I look up in Consumer reports has good and bad reviews listed! Do you like top or front etc...one said it dried the clothes too much in the spin and had permanent wrinkles ewww I guess there can be too much of a good thing -- I have a range to choose in $500-$700.Please help

I have had a front loader for several years and would definitely buy another one. Mine is a Kenmore that we bought at a scratch and dent place (in Michigan, but I think the Sears repair place on Beach St. sells this kind of thing).

I have found that front loaders use less soap, use less water, are easier on the clothes (because there is no agitator) and the clothes dry faster because they are spun so well (make sense?)

I love LOVE LOVE LOVE my washing machine. I jut got a front loader after using a 10+ year old piece of crap for 8 years. I will admit that mine is one of the higher end models with the Steam feature. If you can afford it (I have been saving my pennies for 8 years waiting for the piece of crap to BREAK, which it actually didn’t, but the dryer did.) go get a front loader. You will be happy you did.
