THursday Thirteen Springing going on in my yard

http://thursday-13.com/

My yard is burgeoning w/ signs of Spring growing everywhere: in the ground on the trees and in my flower pots

Hubby has done such a good job
planting and keeping
up with the new vegetables
and fruits we have planted

patio tomatoes

eggplant-- my vegetarian daughters favorite

Onions and Zucchini

he built this planter box for two tomato and one pepper
plant and they are growing like crazy

These strawberries are so sweet but the birds love them

we have two new plum trees w/ lots of plums but the birds keep eating them

Do you think I need a scarecrow

Daisey's just make me smile-- I think the flies like them too

THese Mum's are supposed to bloom in the Fall- I was supposed to cut them back back a second time but I din't know next time I will

The roses are Ok so far but so much rain has made them all a little rusty:)

This volunteered up front I think it is a squash or a pumpkin hmmm how did that happen

A big baby robin

and of courseall because two birds fell in love....

more of the the lady bird on my porch

and they grow bigger each day

What is springing at your house

Your garden shots have a lot of excitement to them, but I love all the bird pictures best!

What a fun post! Our tomato plant in the pot also has yellow leaves on the bottom? How sweet about those birds! Ha!

You have a lovely yard. I am jealous that you live where your garden is already producing so much.

Everything loves strawberries. I used to have ongoing battles with the squirrels, which liked to dig them up and chew on the roots.

Great pics!! Try tinsel in your fruit trees (tied tightly, of course!) Also old CD's can be glued shiny side out and strung together. Sometimes the sparklies frighten the birds away. Of course, I don't really mind sharing my fruit with the birds. I love watching them so. Hehe

Awesome photos!!! Those bird photos are stupendous. However did you get so close to them without having them fly off! Excellent.

My 13 is posted. Either use the link provided at the top of my Thursday blog or scroll down to the bottom of the entry. It’s English for Dummies!…..fun. Have a great day.
