I enjoy catching faces when the subject is unaware -- I think a part of them I do not notice w/ my eye, is picked up w/ my lens..... I hope they like themselves as well ---because to me they are beautiful... as people I know and care about

So many pensive expressions! I always think of the 4th as a day of wonder.
Unaware photos definitely bring out a side you don't get when the subject is actively posing - or even just aware that their photo is being taken. Great photos!

I took pictures of people on the 4too but I tried to NOT take their faces as I was photographing their weird hair. I should post it. Your's makes more sense.
