Bluebonnets Texas State Flower

I love that we have such a striking colored State flower.

Little patches can be seen everywhere in neighborhoods

and parks

Since it is also a wild flower we have chosen to paint the sides of our state highways w/ them

And if you angle just right you can catch the blue sky

w/ the blue bonnets

I found it ironic to find a piece of trash in the bluebonnet field that resembled the beloved shape of our state:)

I love the Texas Bluebonnets. They were one of the first things Rob pointed out to us as we drove from the airport on our fist visit to Tx.:)

To have such wonderful flowers alongside the highways, it will be a bit difficult to pay attention to the road while all of these are in bloom. I would love to have our backyard full of this wildflower. Such blue beauty sitting on the ground!

Wow, how beautiful! Sorry to read on the right column that you wrenched your knee - by the way your work out stats are so impressive. And I love that quote about the 5 mile walk :)
