Ft Worth's Stockyards M&J's visit in August

water tower
visitors center
y'all come  on in
 for the ...art:)
and local color
its a fun throwback in time

We try to take our visitors to the Ft Worth Stockyards it is just down the road from me
and takes you into a cowboy world
I try to torture everyone
equally-making them
try on hats
-whether they
like it
or not
we usually have some fun
and sometimes get GREAT shots
but everyone ends up hearting Texas........
whether for the candy
or cuisine

Such a great town from the wild west. Love the water pump for trains. They are so special for America and old C&W movies.
Lovely red in all pictures.
Like the reporter style.

The family that wears hats together is a special one, indeed! The water tower is from cattle drives long ago, so it looks old. Actually, classic. The visitors are a beautiful bunch, and from trying on hats, all have a fine appetite, and are rewarded with fine beef at the end of the day...

What fun you all seem to be having. No one looked particularly 'tortured'!!

Lovely walk through Fort Worth. I haven't been there in over thirty years. Maybe I need to plan a trip next summer. Or maybe in the winter.
