Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?

We sure are! Z had his first official football game of the Season. I hope this first game is indicative of the rest of the season. I was running a little late I have to blame it on the pretty sunset in my eyes on the way there...

Way at the start of the game we, (well R )caught this little football the Cheer and pepsquads throw to the crowd. It was no easy feat, as we sit pretty high up in the bleachers so we can have backs on our otherwise perfectly comfortable HS metal bleachers. But he was nice as he always is :> and gave it to me. I said aloud "well, Now Zach will just a have to score a touchdown today!."

The parents around me qlanced quizically at me-- some w/ happy anticipation but most w/ lady who do you think you are written across their faces. Well , they just do not know Z does not like to disappoint his parents so here is a perfect photo of Z's touchdown

well not so perfect? but here is a little better one of his back while on the sidelines

And lest we think it was just 'a little yellow plastic football repayment' he scored another one (his performance on the field far surpassed mine behind the camera).

I was having camera issues last night but here is a pretty shot of the flags that the boys run up and down the sideline after a touchdown! Hurray!!! 2 touchdowns in the opening game of his senior year. They won 63-7 I think the other team had a sad night but we were off to a great start.

Great job Zach! I saw his name in the paper today. Sounds like it was a fun and wild game for the rough riders and the mom of Z. I hope his whole senior season goes the same, wouldn't that be fun!

Yay for Zach!

Those other momma's would keep their evil looks to themselves if you told them "I am going to blog about you."

I had camera issues last night, too. But our team lost, due to poor coaching. Long story for a future post.

Yay for your win. Winning feels good.

Awesome game! I LOVE football. DH doesn't. We'll see if either of our boys are interested. How fun to have a star! :) What a great game!
