My poor hubby, they embarrass him at his work and now I am doing it again in blogland.
His work had a very nice picnic at the rec. assoc. It was a lovely weather day. Sunny and only a little hot, we did hit 91 but there was lots of shade so it was pleasant. All the directors and senior managers had to participate in "King of the Throne"
The game of horseshoes using toilet seats and plungers dressed in Shower curtain capes and shower caps His team got 3rd but he did get the only ringer of the day!!
He was in another contest a salsa making contest-- his work team entered him, so he made his Salsa and he won!!!!
This recipe started w/ my Sister I put my own spin on it and DH does a different spin on his-- mine is mild, his is medium
Salsa
1 can tomatoes
2 roasted hatch peppers and seeds +1 more can tomatoes (or 1 can Rotel, I use milder)
1 handful fresh cilantro
1 small wedge of onion
1 small garlic clove
1 small whole tomatillo
(I think DH leaves out garlic and tomatillo)
put ingreds in blender blend on low to desired consistency (I prefer chunky)Salt to taste serve w/ tortilla chips (I prefer 'On The Border' or 'Tostito's' brands)
It was a nice day and the rec assoc. is so pretty
