Photo Hunt Narrow

This week as I thought of the theme for Photohunt of Narrow I kept seeing these guys working on the wires because of the high winds we have been having here this week--- Because of those high winds these looked even more narrow to me--

as I watched them working so high in the air on this narrow arm I was nervous for them-- that they might blow out of their temporary ivory towers.

They were working high above the railroad tracks which are also narrow esp when you think of the weight that rides on them.

For Safety they had down these new narrow traffic cones-- At first I thought they were odd compared to there stout counter parts, but now I like them:> and they inspire me that even traffic cones can get thinner:>

All week I was hoping I could see this narrow truck we have seen occasionally--- I wonder how it can bare the embarrassment of being on the road w/ all the big trucks it is so narrow, and low and behold, I saw the skinny little thing yesterday while waiting for a train to pass.

This is the first time I see such a narrow truck. I did not even know it existed. Great shots you have here this week.

If you have the time, do check out my another interpretation at http://www2.crizlai.com/2008/02/02/photo-hunters-narrow/

We have a lot of those trucks plying major highways here in the Philippines. I think these are great ways to do ads BUT they contribute to the traffic and the pollution, so I guess its not that efficient.

Great photo on the train tracks. Have a great weekend, Marcia :)

A great collection of photos there! I particularly like the one of the rails disappearing into the distance. That truck really does look odd:)

These are great. Like everyone else says, that truck is really narrow - never seen such a thing before! The rails are a good shot, and I like the look of those new traffic cones - different. If you've had the type of wind we've had, those men had a hard job! Good collection, and thanks for the visit.

It´s very windy here today (we have 25m/s) - I wonder what would happen if this odd truck was driving here now.

Very narrow truck... We have those around us now, they are placing advertisements on them and driving them around. That is a different advertising concept. I also like the one with the railroad track...

Happy weekend!
