scroll downfor Weekend Snapshot Happy ST Patty's ( Repeat)

What do you do For St Patty's Day? Since I am more than a wee bit Irish it has always been a fun holiday for our family. We have green Eggs and ham and lucky Charms for breakfast, We "hunt for Gold" the 'leprechauns' hide gold wrapped candy (mostly Chocolate of course) at the park and we hunt for it like easter eggs, w/ cousins if it is nice, or at home if it rains. We make corn beef and cabbage, green jello, shamrock cut out cookies, sometims Irish soda bread, and Irish Stew. What do you do?

Sounds like you know how to enjoy that holiday! I hope the leprechaun stops here for some mischief!

Marcia, Happy St. Patrick's Day from a totally Irish blogger! Have a wonderful day celebrating the Irish!

eastcoast, you dye the eggs by boiling in green water (to which you add food coloring).

We didn't really get to do anything exciting this year. I made yummy cupcakes and forgot to bring them into work... and brought Richie a corned beef rueben on Saturday from Arby's... that's it!

I used to love it when we lived next door and you invited the kids over to hunt for gold. Such fun memories.
