In keeping with my current travels I thought I would compare a small piece of my world in Texas with a small piece of my brothers life in New York City they are so different yet in some ways the same ....

I like them both, however, I am partial to Texas.

Wow. Your brother has some fun decorating going on there. :o)

If I were voting you would win hands down for my preferred home. Your view is just better. I wouldn't mind visiting NY, though.

It's true they're both beautiful but the view from your back window is a lot better. :)

I would much prefer your living situation. Both places are lovely, but I like the house, the neighborhood. It's more suburbia and that's what I like.

What a wonderful post Marcia. I think I would rather live where you do but visit New York regularly which I do because my daughter lives just outside NYC.

Wellllllll, let me say: "New York is a nice place to visit" But I wouldn't want to live there. Give me Texas any day!!!

My Photo Hunt Different is shared, I hope, if you haven't already, you can drop by and pay a visit. Happy weekend.

Great take on the theme. One of my sisters has lived in NYC since 1979 so I could relate to this post.

Really great take on the theme! Amazing and kind of cool how two people from the same family can end up in such different environments. Happy hunting!
