photohunt metal

In looking for pictures to go with the theme of metal I got to thinking how much we rely on metal all day every day ....

to eat,

to cook:
part of my brothers kitchen where he creates amazing food,

a restaurant chandelier of....metal (look closely)

to drive,

to repair our cars,--

to sleep,

to appreciate,

a sculpture in NYC,

and a favorite seasonal door decoration

and maybe to save our lives

can anyone tell me what this is or does?

metal is just amazing and essential.

Excellent collection of things for this theme. I haven't got a clue, the cart looks like a crash cart in a hospital obviously not since I don't recognize the thing on the side. Jaws of life? Something on a fire truck, I'd say.

I agreed that we do rely a lot on metal items. The hardiness of metals do help us in many ways such a s protecting our fragile body, etc. Great sharing this week :)

Wow, your brother must be an AMAZING cook! What a fun kitchen. I also liked the chandelier made of spoons. Very cool! I don't know what the last picture is, but it looks like it's on a Fire truck. Is it the part of the hose where it attaches to the fire hydrant?

Wonderful collection of things that are made of metal. My 6yo son and I had a disagreement with the car though. He says its a Volvo and I say its a Honda CRV.

Have a great Easter Sunday, Marcia.

Great selection of metal which we use and we seem to take them for granted.

Loved all the selections for your post. I covet that kitchen rack. And I have no idea what the last one is. Looks like it's on the back of a rescue truck, tho.
