Skywatch An F16 Fighter jet flew by and they are so fast we were so surprised we caught it
I know it is not a great catch through the windshield while driving on the freeway -- i just picked up my camera beside me and snapped-- but I was tickled!!! We see them every time it is overcast because they have to put in so many training hours in differing weather My husband is in accounting for the company that creates these planes.

Wonderful catch Marcia! I always hear the noise of these jets flying overhead to Pt. Magu but once I hear the roar the photo opportunity has passed! :) you did well t zoom in and catch it.
Looks like a giant mosquito but the sound is like 100000000000000 mosquitos:O

Whoa,Marcia! Great catches of extemely fast planes. My "Minuteman" is from Lexington, Massachusetts. From the Battles of Lexington and Concord which were the frist military engagements of the American Revolution. :)

Yes, you reallly did do great! I love to see them fly. I hate to see them. Military and all. But as machines and wonders of engineering they are beautiful.
