When I was hunting for a photo for the word pointed for this weeks photo hunt I passed this Buddhist temple in my town and thought it would be just perfect
Then today as we drove home from a family Independence day celebration -- listening to patriotic music on the classical station we saw this rainbow -- I was filled w/ hope--w/hope and gratitude
that we live in this wonderful nation, that celebrates its birth, its independence today -- Independence that was so hard fought -- so many sacrifices -- so many lives lost--- so we could all live freely -- worship freely, and I smiled in gratitude, as I thought, these are not only pointed pictures but pointed thoughts for this Independence Day
That we live in this nation were we can worship God how
what
and where we please
these pointed steeples I caught as we
chased the sunset home
drove that point deeper into my soul
and again I feel such gratitude

Scrapbooking and Photography
Hi Marcia, your photos are so lovely, I went over them twice this week. :)
We got the pool table when Alessandro was 4 - 13 years ago. He wanted to play so we got him a half size cue, and it all went from there.
I actually GAVE him the pool table 11 years ago. He plays most days. I am just so proud at this current achievement.
But in the Junior World Masters coming up - in the first knock out round, he plays the current Junior World Champion. Oh dear.
Poor Alessandro. :)
From these pictures I've noticed that most places of worship have pointed roofs.
Have a good weekend!

Most excellent, Marcia. I share your respect for home sweet home. I am moved that so many houses of worship are near you--and they all point to the same place.
