My World

and
visit MY World
We are just starting to see changing leaves here I know we are a bit behind other areas and don't get as much color or coverage but I enjoy what we do have

Because I spent my first 18 years in Ohio When I finally landed in Texas 25 years ago I thought there were plenty of Western sights and now I have fully embraced them it is really fun to take visitors to the daily cattle drive

to the nature center

or to see an old Stage coach and embrace the history of 'Ft Worth where the West Begins'

And I have grown to love the beauty in ...

the old and rusty

DAILY cattle drive? Wow!

I love your "rusty" picture. I'm not even into western icons, but it is just a great picture. It makes me want to go make a western card or something!

Isn't it fun to look at the area you live in to try to see it through a tourist's eyes? You have a slight advantage as you did see thus as new at one time. Fun post!

I love the stagecoach! I've always wanted to see Texas, for its history and scenery, but also to enjoy some sunshine: you're very lucky! Thanks for sharing so many wonderful photos.

I like the red leaves.

It is often in the details you find the beauty, even if they are rusty.

The cattle wandering down the street I find fascinating. You have a very different world to mine.

I am amazed by the longhorns. I never expected them to be that long!
I, who get scared meeting a lonely non-horned Norwegian cow. I sure would not want to pick a quarrel with them longhorns!

Very nice shots, love the wrought iron works.

The stagecoach in red is my favorite...to look at! I'd hate to sample the ride in that thing in 1800s dirt and rock trails - not smooth!

The rusty Lone Star on that fence represents Texas, right?

Your world is so beautiful and interesting! The photos are like a very good movie:)I love it:)

Seriously? Daily cattle drives? I have been to Texas and all I saw were miles and miles of miles and miles! And Oil Rigs! And Malls! In fairness, I've driven across it a few times but I have only spent time in Houston and San Antonio - which are practically worlds apart!

Those are great shots of the cattle on the streets. We have cattle in NC but I've never seen anything like the scenes you showed here.

One never appreciates ones surroundings so much as when showing others. You have found a lot of interesting nooks.

Thank you for the wonderful tour. This 2nd week of meme really makes us appreciate the many places that we don't usually see or ever had a chance to visit like the one you showed me in this post. Hope you get to have time to check my world too. Another great job and more to come in the coming weeks.
