Photohunt --- Lazy?

I, like you, have probably used the words Lazy and slothful interchangeably
;If you look la·zy up in the dictionary, one of the things it says is
2. Slow-moving; sluggish: .
3. Conducive to idleness or indolence:.
and if you look up Sloth it says
1. Aversion to work or exertion; laziness; indolence.
2. Any of various slow-moving, arboreal, edentate mammals of the family having long hook like claws by which they hang upside down from tree branches and feeding on leaves, buds, and fruits, especially:
a. having three long-clawed toes on each forefoot.
*
So, yes, they are similar but this sloth for me is defined = cute, cute, cute,

I think the sloth can't read the sign... then again it says for us not to touch..

She wanted to reach out and touch all of of us

esp B, my daughter, but it took like 3 minutes to reach towards her!!

I have never seen a living creature move so slowly in all my life, it was very fascinating to watch.

Everyone had to take a long pause and just watch this peaceful creature

#10 simple way to find joy: take the time to stop and smell the roses

Oh that's simply gorgeous. You are the only one to have a sloth as your focus this week - I think that is SO clever! :)

I am another who has never seen a sloth before or I don't think I have. What a precious animal. Great post. I definitely use sloth and lazy interchangeably. Glad you gave us the definitions.

That is perfect for this theme, and how cool that you had that experience. :)
Blessings!

Great shots! How is that "touching" part enforced though? You are not permitted to touch the sloth, but the sloth is permitted to touch you? LOL. Great contribution. Thanks for sharing!

That's extraordinary - a permanent smile... but how slothful can you get.

How wonderful for your little girl. Oh my I saw North Texas in your profile.

I am originally from Dallas and we now reside just inside the Oklahoma line on the lake.

So howdy neighbor:-)

Great shots! Yup, a sloth would be considered lazy.

Marcia, come ansd see my children when I ask them to do one chore and they're sitting on the sofa!
I think they're already sitting. They haven't moved yet.

Nice picture. Where do you find so much ideas. Your brain isn't lazy at all.
