My World and Ruby Tuesday

My World visit
Ruby Tuesday

I thought I would share a little about a little quaint Tx restaurant w/ you
this is in Burleson Texas hometown of American Idols Season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson
Babe's
,
You can get Fried Chicken, Plate size Chicken Fried Steak, Smoked Chicken,
Fried Catfish, and Pot Roast plus Mashed Potatoes,Cream Gravy,Green Beans.Green Salad
Grandma's Corn,Homemade Biscuits all served Family style in low lighting to soften the kitschy decor

as you enter there is a row of chairs made from tractor seats and painted bright cheery colors

You can dance silly songs w/ the servers

who also sing and so can you ...

and after eating etc you can head up stairs to a fun gift shop that sell s the crafty -funny silly stuff

and some very nice

There are more farm implement seating options on your way out

This is just a little quirky part of a

small Texas town about 30 miles south of my home

I like the way you showed us a slice of life so to speak (I'll take a slice of smoked chicken) in your Texas town.

The food looks fine. Although the chicken and catfish were delicious, the biscuits...don't see a lot of real biscuits in New England...

I like the DADD, but since our daughter is in college, it couldn't be enforced now anyhow. But I appreciate the sentiments!

Great set of photos. Looks like a fun spot to eat. I have to say I love that stuffed kitty. It looks very real and I bet it's much better behaved than either of my cats, even Tara Grace who has been feeling rather frisky of late.

Thanks to share Marcia, your funny address of Red Texas resturant.
Would like to eat there, buy some present before leaving, and certainly make some picture as well.
Those chairs are very creative.

Well, that was a fun post... Now I know what you folks do for fun...
Don't know if the chicken decorations are too appetizing right there with the final product, but it looks yummy anyway...
