SkyWatch Where there is Smoke there is Fire

visit more Skywatchers

AS I was heading home form the park on Sat I saw this... never a good sign

my Dad used to be fireman and used to follow to see maybe if he could help? .... as I watched the 8 or so Emergency vehicles whiz by me as I was pulled over I called the only people I knew in that direction to check on them and they were fine. When I was a little girl we had a house fire and I feel so bad for what the families will experience each time I see a site like this.

Worrying smoke in your Sky(watch).
And the tires trails on the road, are not a good sign either.

Yes, the tire trails signal another oh-oh happening. Sorry to hear about your past experience with house fire.

I hope no one was hurt in that fire. It's always scary to see smoke in the distance, isn't it?

Happy Sky Watch!

Smoke, not a good think. Rather long skid marks there too.

Hi JimG, where there is smoke there may be indians sending their smoke signals. Mom used to say that to us kids.
Happy SkyWatch, I'm doing it again this week (Little Photo Place). Not nearly as pretty as your smokey sky but I did find sky.

fire is a good friend but also can be the worst enemy.

Smoke can stop your heart! I live in a large development and have seen four fires in 6 years. I've learned that USUALLY white smoke is not too bad. (Unless it's because they've almost got the fire out.) But I know the feeling you had when you saw it.
