I went on a 2 hour hike on Sat and I was so refreshed afterwards the terrain was a nice challenge and nature just refreshes me!!! I am so grateful that even w/ all my aches and pains and knee surgeries my legs are strong enough to allow me this challenge
I followed tracks, some by the lake
some in the woods
and I was not disappointed Do you think this is the Mom of the baby from the other day?
People always ask me how I see wildlife so often and I try to share w/ them the only things I know --as you round curves --walk silently (no leaves or sticks under feet)and no talking and if you do hear a rustle or spot a flash of movement freeze--- it can be difficult but rewarding

Thank you for taking us with you on the wonderful walk. You got some great shots and I'm glad you are still able to take challenging hikes. I feel the same way myself with I manage to go on a hike which stretches me and makes me feel fortunate for what I do have rather than focusing on my limitations.
