My world is a little Drab today- RTuesday

Visit My World and Ruby Tuesday
I thought My world was a little Drab today so I searched for something pretty or a little color
Our town got these new signs this past year I think they show the border to the FW city limits --- the icicles look interesting --does your town have them?

The trees were not quite frozen enough to be thought Beautiful

My Trampoline doesn't always wear icicles but not beautiful either

The bike seat looks kinda cool

I thought I would only have beauty if I threw out some color for contrast

I could see a peak of color through the fence

Then I saw these seed pods

for some reason this work table appealed to me

this crepe myrtle bark was interesting

but then I found some true beauty in these frozen berries and the color I needed for RT

The ice adds an artistic flair to the landscape. However, it only looks pretty, especially if you have to get somewhere. we'll have some of that on Wed, and I can hardly wait...

In younger days, I thought Texas was supposed to be warmer that New England. My thinking changed when i was in the Metroplex in the 80s. The temp one day was 7°F, and I believe that day was the first day over freezing in a week. Brrrrr!

The red adds warmth to the scenes!

Drab is the word, Marcia. Seems to be a national affliction. I love the way you made the most of the day, though.

What an interesting, creative series of shots. I love the frozen berries and the bell especially. I'm guessing that all those icicles are something of a rarity in Texas. It is white and cold here. I'm already tired of winter and it has just begun really. Great ruby tuesday post... not drab at all.

I loved all of these but my favorite was the red bell!

Marcia, it makes me shiver. Is it usual in Texas to get so much ice everywhere?
Love your Ruby touches, especially the bell.
