It was an unseasonably warm day in early February that I was in the West end and snapped these pics of a couple of nice students, who I do not know. I did not think of them again till I loaded the pictures on the computer and looking at their warm open exchange just 'warms' my heart.
I need to photograph an event from start to finish 12 photos on Saturday for a class assignment any one have some ideas?

I posted the answer to your question on my blog, but I thought I would post it here too. The lens I bought is a Tamron 28-75mm. If I had unlimited funds I would buy the Canon 24-70mm L lens ($1200). The Tamron got great reviews, some even liked it better than the Canon and at 1/4 of the price it won me over!
Go to the newspaper or free paper and see what is happening.. An event.. Maybe the band..
