Last week I posted about the midway of the Stock show
but here is the real deal
the stock that kids raise and sell for scholarships
the end of the cattle
If I said they were hamming it up for the camera
would that be bad form?
Children enjoyed the petting zoo
Actually I know from several friends it takes
the whole family to raise these animals
and generous individuals and coporations to buy the ones
that are sold at auction in an arena like this

I love these shots of the animals and children. Great post from your world.
Terrific post and photos and they brought back so many memories as I've been there -- years and years ago! Still fun! Hope you have a great week!

The animals are the true stars of the show, be it cattle, pigs or bunnies. The creatures thrive do to the caring people that raise and feed them. The subtle reds like bridles are nice accents that do not overpower the beautiful form of the animals. A nice show!
I want one of those pink cowboy hats!!!!!
Those animals looks very healthy. For sure people will bid and the kids will get enough money from it.
Christmas Cactus
they are so cute and adorable, a lot of red in these photos.
The cattle are in such great condition and looking at the other animals reminds me that we will be judging the children's pet section in 10 days time.
Yhe animals all look so well cared for! It's wonderful when a whole family works towards such a goal.
That is a lot of work, right?
Wonderful pictures.
Happy TQM!
Happy RT!

There you are in Texas and your stock show looks identical to our county fair every August. We have a midway, too (sort of), but the animal judging and all the photos are so familiar to me and brought back wonderful memories.
Wonderful shots! Especially the cattle, which I love.
