It is oft said everything is bigger in Texas, It is also said there is truth in advertising-- I am not sure that either of those is true all the time.-- and this post will prove both these things one way or another.
1. This is one big Texas Smile-- apparently we really are happy about our BBQ here in Texas. &

Bonus: these two guys look they know a thing or two about mufflers-- I might be tempted to buy one from them


And this one I took at peril to my life-- stopping on a very busy street and could have been very expensive as they wanted to make me buy a car for taking a picture :> But I zoomed away as the man was loudly trying to convince me in Spanish -- The irony was not lost on me.She has welcomed all to our country.

Weekend snapshot

This has been some week we had a very sad funeral for a young person.

we had Valentines day, a couple of birthdays, I had two ear infections, bronchitis and a sinus infection -
my Mom was sick and we had very cold rain,--- I got hit and run side-swiped on Friday-- life was hectic to say the least.

A friend brought me some of the flowers from the funeral--

.The flower is pretty... life is not all better--but I have my...... family and loved ones intact ..




and this rainbow gave me the hope that rainbows always bring

that the sun will shine tomorrow and it did:>

Photohunt Free

The theme for photohunt this week is 'free' this was the most difficult theme I have tried. I could have posted free candies at a restaurant or freedom in our country would have been good, freecycle would have been good too but nothing seemed to fit this week for me so I went a totally different direction --- While walking w/ my dad in the care center where he lives We looked out the window one day and saw this snow covered ledge where the building jutted out





and on another day we saw the same ledge snow free





Maybe I should have posted this one which is representative of where I feel the most free.

my favorite time of the day is when i get to add miles to my walking log:)

I fell in love 25 years ago w/this man

6.He enjoyed all the same things I did
7.He was such a good person
8.HE loved to dance
9.He knew what he wanted out of life
10.He had the best grades of anyone I ever met

12.He was such a hard worker and cooked for me.
13.I wanted to be a better person because he loved me.


Now I love this man
