My little town has a festival called the "Train and Grain" because that was the prevalent industry here we are growing some what fast for me but...
The Chamber of Commerce sits right beside the tracks and has Three train cars to tour connected to the building-- and grain elevators behind it
The signs say A City on the Right Track
There are flour mills along w/ others
Many local businesses are named for the surrounding area
and are owned by sweet local people who know who you are
Even the architecture of our wonderful Dentists office reflects the theme
I have lived here 21 years and have been very happy.

Those are massive grain silos. Massive, that is, to someone who lives in a world without silos, at least in Connecticut. Not many trains, either up here. Everything is bigger in Texas, as they say. Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Marcia, this is a lovely post, the very reason I like this meme so much. All of us who post our more personal surroundings become fiends and care a little for each other. Living in a big world lie living in a little town where we are too.
