the children all had fun eating breakfast, running, and playing games. (This is a grand nephew and nephew)they were excited to win prizes
for winning in games like cricket tossIt was so surprising to see how fun the laundry game was the concentration

Children seem a natural when they are dressed in red. I don't know why, but red is perfect! I haven't seen clothespins like this in years. I guess we all got used to the electric dryer...
Lovely look at history while having fun, too. I don't remember that hanging clothes on the line was that much fun when I was little! Hope your back is OK - did you win?
What a fun day -- well, except for your back and I do hope it's better now! Like Barb I love the idea of seeing some history and having fun at the same time! Terrific photos! Have a great week, Marcia!

Never visited your blog prior to today, but love the sense of community and joy that you manage to convey. Hope the back is feeling better. I reckon that we can blame the younger generation for all the ills that befall us oldies.
this is a fun day. i'm glad to see the kids having fun while learning about the ways our forefathers lived.
looks like fun!
I love your new header, very summery :)
That all sounds like simple but great fun! So sorry about your back though. I hope it's much better.
Looks like a fun day. The laundry "game" is a brilliant idea. Brain wash them while they are young... Hope your back feels better.
Excellent photo set and perfect for a Ruby Tuesday. Kids bring out the best in all of us.
