Pioneer Day Celebration




the children all had fun eating breakfast, running, and playing games.  (This is a grand nephew and nephew)they were excited to win prizes

Children seem a natural when they are dressed in red. I don't know why, but red is perfect! I haven't seen clothespins like this in years. I guess we all got used to the electric dryer...

Lovely look at history while having fun, too. I don't remember that hanging clothes on the line was that much fun when I was little! Hope your back is OK - did you win?

Never visited your blog prior to today, but love the sense of community and joy that you manage to convey. Hope the back is feeling better. I reckon that we can blame the younger generation for all the ills that befall us oldies.
