This is posted not for the tremendous amount of orange-- but for the idea-- for like 20 years I have wanted to do a t- shirt quilt ----thinking one for each of my children---- then I thought they most likely don't want that?    IT  is me who wants the memories hanging around --to keep me warm on those cold empty nest nights soo... I just love the creative placement of this one and I am going to commit to try this!!!!!!!!!!!   Please somebody hold me to my commitment and check up on me:)j

In May Richie graduated from George Washington Law School and yesterday he found out he passed the bar Exam! We (like his wife and aunt  stated on FB) never doubted  he would pass. He is such a hard working brilliant  man.

I saw these at these mini piglets at the State Fair of TX

they like being mounded together -you can tell their mini size when one started to feed

on the not at all miniature mother pig --the baby  may be little but it is quite  vigorous as you can see by

but I think she would have  liked this even less!!

Learning --still

Yesterday was a terrible, awful, no good, very bad day- I  had had a wonderful week visiting w/ my son who just returned home after two years  on a mission but --Wednesday afternoon was different
It marked six weeks that my mom had died.-- I was sad---- not because I would have her come back because I wouldn't  bring her back to her pain ......I just would like to say  a few things to her and have some of  the routine ........visiting her  back--- to appreciate it--- instead of whine about it --and .............I behaved out of Character for me --  I let three different people know I was upset instead of turning the other cheek -- It is not very satisfying ...... then .........I was tearful and needy - my Husband has been  out of town for  four days and he is such a great equalizer for me --I forget  that when he is not here for me to use as a buffer I need to be ever more vigilant----I AM learning though (if even through trial and error) and need to listen to the little prompts they always help me ...when I listen

My World butterfly short life:(

came out of the house and was greeted by this lovely sight

I so enjoyed

watching it flit

and fly from bloom to bloom

posing nicely for me  I felt light as a butterfly w/ the joy  of watching and snapping

chasing it around was a challenge till it stayed

in this one spot so I tried

different angles

not knowing what I was seeing

it was moving oddly and I snapped away

I thought what is this!.......  oh, they are interacting ---how neat

then I realized the interaction was the ....

...cycle of life

it was dying

the beauty i was enjoying turned..... raw

and it flipped

and twisted

I Felt sad and a little sick to my stomach

then it was dead I know its nature-- so I know-- this is what happens

after it was dead i placed it on my Mum

and couldn't decide if that was a tribute or a little icky
